Inside Outside
From the moment I arrived in Hong Kong, something felt… off, but in a way that made me pay attention. Driving through the city, I kept noticing things — small shifts, strange contrasts, things that didn’t fit where I thought they should. It wasn’t anything I could explain, but it stuck with me.
So I left my cameras behind and started walking. I needed to stay with the feeling, not shoot through it.
Eventually, it came into focus: in Hong Kong, as you will see, things that usually stay hidden elsewhere are right there on the surface. The dense city has figured out unique ways to make itself work. And seeing that changed me. It helped me make who I am more visible in my work.
